Jeep & Canter Safari is the most practical way to explore Ranthambore’s wildlife. Tiger or other animal sightings cannot be guaranteed as they move freely in their natural habitat. Every day two safaris are conducted; vehicles enter with valid forest permits and trained guides.

Zone, vehicle type, driver & guide are allotted by the forest department through an automated system to ensure fair distribution. 20 Jeep (6-seater) & 20 Canter (20-seater) vehicles are allowed per shift. Booking is first-come-first-served with full advance payment. Once booked, tickets may be rescheduled once (48 h prior) if seats are available; full refund is processed within 7 days only when the park remains closed by the forest department due to force-majeure (heavy rain, government order).
